On offer is this beautiful Seiko Lord Matic from 1968 retaining it’s original finish presented on a genuine Seiko lizard strap. This watch is powered by the Seiko in-house caliber 5606 serviced with a working day-date corrector wheel, which can be problematic with this movement. The caliber 5606 features hacking seconds, day indicator in English and Kanji, date and a 47 hour power reserve. The 7040 case model is a “front loader” design, meaning there is no removable case back intended to increase water resistance, although we do not recommend getting this watch wet. The case is in excellent condition retaining it’s original finish of high polish and brushed services. This beautiful vintage watch perfect for a Seiko enthusiast or Swiss collectors looking to experience fine Japanese watchmaking.
